At this time Taste Wine Co unfortunately does not ship spirits. Taste Wine Co. does not ship anything internationally.
Taste Wine Co. may at purchaser’s request, package and arrange for delivery as directed by the purchaser. In such event, purchaser agrees that (a) all such packaging, handling and delivery is at the sole risk of the purchaser and that Taste Wine Co. shall have no liability for any loss or damage to such items, and (b) purchaser shall pay in advance, all packaging expenses, including labor, materials, carriers fees and all insurance charges.
By placing an order, the purchaser authorizes Taste Wine Co. to act on his/her behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. The purchaser is solely responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due to another state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
Please call the store if you have specific time/delivery requirements.
Delivery hours typically start at 5pm and end one hour prior to closing, but we are sometimes able to make deliveries during the day. If you need your delivery prior to 5pm it is best to arrange this in advance.
We offer free deliveries to our neighbors with a minimum $30 order. This area includes Houston up to 20th Street, from Ave B to Broadway. If you live in Manhattan but outside this zone and your order is between $30-100, we'll gladly deliver for a $10 fee.
All orders over $150 are free anywhere in Manhattan, from Battery Park up to 100th Street, River to river! When possible we can attempt to deliver large orders same day. But many orders, beyond our local free delivery zone, get pushed to the next business day.
In accordance with NY State law, Taste Wine Co can only sell and deliver alcohol to customers over the age of 21. We and our representatives will only release, through signature, alcohol to those in possession of a valid photo ID. Taste Wine Co also reserves the right to refuse delivery to those who are or appear to be intoxicated.
We all hate a missed package, at Taste Wine Co we want to ensure you receive yours. If there is no doorman available, you can request a time, prior to delivery, that you'd like us to deliver it to ensure that someone over 21 receives it! If there is a doorman or package receiving area we will typically leave it there. If there is no one home and no doorman, your package will be returned to the store and rescheduled for next day delivery, a $10 fee will be added however
We ship wine to states that allow it. Cases currently are shipped ground via UPS Monday through Friday. We do not ship in the extreme heat or cold, but would be happy to store ordered wine for you until such time that the extreme temperatures have abated. Orders will incur a shipping charge commensurate with the location the wine is being shipped too. At this time we unfortunately do not ship spirits and do not ship internationally.
We love finding tough to get bottles for our customers, orders for special items will require a deposit. Deposits will be refunded 100% if we are unable to get the wine requested. Cases not paid for will result in deposits being forfeited.
